On christmas holidays of the year 2011 a homeless seller of traditional 'pascuas' (know as poinsettia) in Old San Juan asked me to take him some pictures while he worked so he could send them by mail to his family in New York. I visited him again the day after with some prints and it was very satisfying to see how much he loved them, searching through and selecting the ones to send 'back home'. Its been a while since the last time I saw Papo but hopefully during the next christmas i'll see him around with his accustomed smile and some the most beautiful 'pascuas' for sale in Old San Juan.
