Covered Statues

I'm still figuring out my obsession with documenting statues that for whichever reason get temporally covered. What appeals to me the most is the sensation of fonding a new sculpture born within the one that already existed and suddenly it is not about whats underneath but more about seeing an unfamiliar 'sculptural oddity'  in a familiar place.

The first picture for example was taken on the Lincoln Academy in Old San Juan where someone vandalized with graffiti over Lincoln's statue and the temporary solution was to cover him up. I'm looking forward to find more picture like these ones and expand the collection.
